I have started a new blog.. Cos of Irene. I saw her blog. This Mommy is fantastic with her fingers!! She capture and preserve her memories and her 2 pretty girls chilhood so creatively!! Then I show her my old blog and she encourage me to start a new blog. Hahah.. Hmm.. Will I be a determine (or rather self disciline) enoough to blog regularly? We shall see. Anyway, to start it off, let's take a look @ events of 2007 : Jovel had her named changed. She's now offcially Jovel Xanthe David. She had graduated from Kindergarten and will be entering PCPS next year. Wasn't easy to get her in. Got in through balloting. At the monet when her name was annouced I felt like i just won 6 million Toto!! Really so happy n excited. She had improved a lot in her work. Was not able to read a lots of words when she was in the childcare @ AMK. Thanks to many ppl. The scchool teacher (Kris), my in laws etc.. My Great Grandmother passed away in July at the age of 93. She was a really kind and big hearted person. No matter what happen in the family, she will always open her door to anyone. She treat all of us the same, children, stepchildren all make no difference to her. Her funeral was a party for us. For the Chinese if u can live enough to see yr 4th generation and above, you are considered very lucky and "hao ming" (good life). We wear a patch of colour coded cloth on out shoulder to show our generation. I am the Great Grand child so my colour is Green. Jovel is the 5th generation as the Great Great Grandchild so she wear Pink. All the candles used @ the funeral were Red as it is a happy event that Great Grandma had lived a ripe age. I celebrated my 1st wedding anniversary. 27/05/07. We did not do anything much. Just went on to a dinner cruise. Its actually a old type of Junk to replicate the Cheng Ho. Had a buffet dinner on board. Saw the fire works of Song Of The Sea performace. Welcomed 3 babies to the world. The 1st baby girl,Sarah, was borned to a very old friend of mine ,Sally. We use to stay @ the blk 535 at AMK . We went to the same primary school too with Serena.But after i shifted to Seng Kang and also because we went to different secondary school we lost contact. Then we found each other again after abt 10 yrs on Friendster. Exchanged MSN and start talking online. From there we visited each other. So I was there when baby Sarah arrived. Although she was born premature (30 weeks) she was a strong baby. Now She's already 3 mths old. 2nd baby is my aunty's 1st baby boy, Edison. Born just 1 day after Joash 1st birthday. He's so cute. Aunty had a very fast labour too. 5 hrs for 1st timer. I took 17 hrs to give birth to Jovel and 13 hrs for Joash. 3RD is baby Melody. 4th baby to my ex colleague, Jasmine. Born just 1 week after Edison. She's got Lots of hair. Look like her daddy. So happy for Jasmine cos she's already a Gao Lin Chan Fu. Admire her bravery. Its not easy for her. Work and family caused her a lot of stress but on the hand she got to take good care of herself. Applause!!! Lost 1 Baby. I had a miscarriage again. The 1st time was before I had Joash. This time it happen on Mid Authem Festival. I brought the 2 kids to my great grandma place for some prayer and also celebrate the festival. I did not feel anything until when i was in my uncle car's on my way home @10 plus, i felt like something coming out from below. I thought I leaked some urine when i sneezed. But when I got hm, I was so shocked to see my undies all bloody. Fil quickly sent me to Mt E while I called Dr Lim. When we got to the A&E, Dr Lim advice not to do a scan @ the A&E dept cos its going to cost us $800 plus. So he gave me a jab, admitted me and then sent me to his clinic 1st thing the next morning to do the scan. The waterbag was in an like elongated. So he gave me another jab and then sent me back to the ward for complete bed rest. The 2nd day we did the scan again and this time the waterbag has reduced a lot in size. Dr Lim was quite convinced that its a natural miscarriage. I was kind of ready for this news. Cried a bit. Maybe this baby knows I don't have the full ability to support all 3 of them. I just want my 2 angels in heaven to know that they are never forgotten. In my heart, I will always remember that have had them before. These are just some of the major events I can remember for now.. Can't possible have everything here at 1 go. haha. Hope you enjoy my post!
